HOT, SLOW YOGA
FLOW Level
2/3 Practiced in a
room heated
to 90 degrees, this vinyasa class uses slow, large
movements
and longer holds to work deep, building heat,
strength, and
flexibility. Avoid meals prior to class; bring a towel
MOVEMENT AND MEDITATION All levels Class begins with a light asana practice to align and open the body, followed by a pranayama and meditation practice. Class time is evenly split between between body and mind practice.
PRE-NATAL YOGA Asanas, breathing, and mind-focusing
techniques chosen to help the expectant mother through
pregnancy and delivery. Runs in a 6-week session.
TEEN YOGA This class is for students age 13-18. Learn
how the physical practice, the breathing exercises and
the
mind-quieting techniques of yoga can help teens
navigate this
wonderful, but stressful time of life. Runs in a
6-week
session.
YOGA FOR THE TRUE
BEGINNER Intro Level As a matter of fact, our True Beginner instructor, Anne Unger, is offering a Yoga Basics class on Thursday evenings, 7:00pm. While all Yoga Basics are appropriate, this particular Yoga Basics class is definitely geared toward the True Beginner, so check it out!
